On Friday, July 11, 2008, the PrepXtra Media Day was held at Three Ridges Golf Course in Knox County, TN. Over 40 high school football teams from Knoxville and the surrounding area attended. |

WazooSports.com, along with several other media venues, interviewed players and coaches on an individual basis. Other media present included the Knoxville News Sentinel, WBIR, WVLT, WATE, Sports Animal Radio and The Farragut Press. Of the 42 teams gathered, Wazoo Sports had the opportunity to interview some of the teams that will be involved in our PrepXtra game of the week. |

WAZOO SPORTS ANNOUNCES KENTUCKY, TENNESSEE PREP “GRIDIRON SERIES”
Wazoo Sports, Inc. has announced the creation of the "Bluegrass Gridiron Series" and the "Volunteer Gridiron Series" as their focus on broadcasting high school football this Fall. Both the Bluegrass and Volunteer "Gridiron Series" will showcase some of the top high school football teams, players and coaches in their respective states, and will bring the best "rivalries" in Kentucky and Tennessee to high school football fans everywhere with the click of a mouse.
The games that make up the "Gridiron Series" will feature power house programs rich in tradition, as well as up-and-coming teams from both states. Wazoo will broadcast these football games beginning in mid August through the end of November, and the games will be covered LIVE and will be available for unlimited ON DEMAND viewing as well.
